1. Candy Apple & Classic Reds
This trend is all about having 'Snow White Apple Red' lips. As you can see there are different interpretations of a Snow White apple red lips and the good thing is it can be in any finish you like, satin at Dolce and Gabbana glossy at Nina Ricci and Acne or matte at Celine.

3. Blue is the Hottest Colour
As far as eye makeup goes there seemed to be an overwhelming pattern of blue across the catwalks. Phillip Lim 3.1 added subtle turquoise liner to the lower inner corner of the eyes balancing it with liner drawn on the upper outer corner of the eye while at Ihuiller models wore turquoise across the whole lid. Boss adopted a darker sky blue for the eyelids. At Tod's models wore light blue mascara. Diane Von Furstenberg had models made up in turquoise and green makeup while Jonathan Saunders saw dark almost purple blue kohl rimmed lids. Missoni went for a dramatic graphic eye, which looked amazing on darker skinned models with the blue shadow sometimes going over the brow. Sonia Rykiel went for a dark blue smoky eye and while Marc Jacobs went for a sweaty careless worn off eye makeup the effect was the same as a smoky eye.

5. Pastel Colours
Soft pastel colours in 'sunset' shades around the eyes was a trend spotted at Giambattista Valli (pink) and at Derek Lam (orange.) Pastel shades were blended together around the eyes at Alexis Mabille together with a pink blush applied high up on the cheekbone.

6. Minimal Makeup and Thick Brows
The minimal makeup look aka the no makeup look was also popular with designers including Victoria Beckham, Alexander Mcqueen and Hermes.
Thick but angled brows were seen across the catwalk at Victoria Beckham, Christopher Kane and at Pucci. Ann Demeulemeester had straighter lower thick brows on models.

7. Bright Colour and Neon
Eye catching and creative, these bright colour looks are more suited to editorial makeup, but
neon yellow from I'm Isola Marras probably the most wearable followed by Yohji Yamamoto's neon stripe down the face. At Issey Mikaye, makeup artist Alex Box blew MAC pigments through a straw to get the splashes of colour. You can see photos of her in action The Fashion Spot here. The rest are like a decorative eye masks of art and I can easily imagine the rainbow seen at Betsey Johnson on faces at the Pride festival or for Halloween makeup as Rainbow Brite.

8. Sequins and Glitter
At Ashish multi-coloured round sequins were glued to models eyelids and up towards the brow bone and some more added to the top of the hair, this looked stunning on their black models. At Manish Arora sequins and glitter were added to dark blue eye makeup creating a look like stars the night sky. Giambattista Valli went for a glittery thicker version of Fendi with a glitter eyebrow shape drawn beneath the brows. At Delpozo moderls wore a little smattering of silver glitter which is probably the most wearable of these looks. Nicopanda saw models faces with generous clouds of the glitter around the face which glittered and gave a dreamy ethereal look. Creatures of the Wild had an ancient Egyptian Cleopatra gold and black look going on which looked stunning on the darker models.

9. Cat Eye
I don't think the cat eye trend will ever really go away. Spring Summer 2016 saw big bold Amy Winehouse cat eyes at Creatures of the Wild, block graphic cat eyes in bright colours at Cividini and subtle flicks at Moschino.

10. Under Lines
This trend involves emphasising the lower lid with black kohl like EachxOther or creating a more smoky sexy look.at Issa by lining the waterline as well. Tadashi Shoji used thin strips of metallic tape on models lower lid instead that actually highlighted dewy skin adding a more precise and futuristic look.

11. Unconventional Liner
I think this trend is probably the least likely to catch on, just because it's not as wearable as the others
Jeremy Scott drew bold cat eyes with thick triangular lashes, paired with sixties beehive and voluminous hair which softened the bold look a little. At Fendi eyebrows were bleached and then drawn underneath in thick black liner. Star Wars inspired liner was seen at Chanel Haute Couture.

12. Doll Like Lashes
A trend that's continued from the autumn winter shows is the wide eyed twiggy/doll like eye lashes. At Francesco Scognamiglio thick coats of mascara were applied and lashes fanned out for the twiggy effect. Over at Marni extra long, wide spaced / individual false eye lashes were applied to models for a starry/ spider look. At Louis Vuitton thick false eye lashes were applied to the outer corners of the eyes for a Japanese style Manga effect.

13. Bronzer and Glow
Summertime is for getting a healthy glow to the skin. Bronzed and sun kissed models appeared at Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger with their California Beach Bunny look and at Alberta Ferretti with gold coils/bands in the hair.
